Commemorating their 90th anniversary of existence, Jawa has recently launched a limited-edition motorcycle based on the existing dual-channel ABS Jawa Classic variant. Getting an ex-showroom price tag of INR 1.73 lakh, the 90th-anniversary edition motorcycle is limited to only 90 units.

The limited-edition Jawa motorcycle can be availed as a lucky draw by the existing Jawa customers or by the customers registering their pre-bookings before October 22, 2019. The motorcycles are all ready to reach the dealerships on October 15 while the lucky draw winners will be allotted the motorcycle with immediate delivery.

Taking styling cues from the first-ever Jawa 500 OHV, the limited edition Jawa motorcycle gets the same red-and-ivory paint scheme. In addition to this, the fuel tank of the motorcycle also features the 90th-anniversary commemorative emblem as well as a limited edition serial number and a black seat cover.

Apart from the cosmetic changes, the Jawa 90th anniversary edition remains mechanically unaltered. Powering the motorcycle is the same 293cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled, DOHC engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 27HP and a peak torque of 28Nm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission.
