Marvel Blue Honda Hornet 2.0 Walkaround Video: Honda has recently entered the sub-200cc motorcycle segment with the launch of Hornet 2.0. The naked street motorcycle is powered by a BS6-compliant, 184.4cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected, air-cooled engine which is good for a maximum power of 17 HP at 8500 rpm and a peak torque of 16.1 Nm at 6000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Apart from the Blue shade, the street bike is available in three more shades: Matte Axis Grey Metallic, Matte Sangria Red Metallic, and Pearl Igneous Black. The braking performance of the bike is handled by a 276mm front disc brake and a 220mm rear disc brake. Honda has equipped the Hornet 2.0 with a single-channel ABS unit though we were expecting them to offer a dual-channel ABS unit at this price point. Hornet 2.0 is equipped with a 110/70-17 tyre at the front end while the rear end features a wide 140/70-17 tyre. Priced at INR 1.30 lakhs, Honda’s latest sub-200cc bike competes in the market with the likes of TVS Apache RTR 200 4V (INR 1.35 lakhs) and the Bajaj Pulsar NS200 (INR 1.35 lakhs).
