Seems like Honda is on a launching spree as they recently launched the 2018 models of Livo, CB Shine, CB Shine SP, Activa (5G), CBR250R, and Dream Yuga in India. Along with Anti-Lock Braking System, 2018 model of CB Hornet also gets LED headlights within the redesigned front fascia. It now looks sharper than ever and gets Hornet branding within the low and high beam section. It is powered by a 162.71cc, single cylinder, air cooled and carburetor fed engine producing 14.9 BHP at 8500 rpm and 14.5 Nm at 6500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. Addition of ABS makes this model the first from its segment to get advanced safety on-board. Additionally, LED lights are also available exclusively on CB Hornet ABS as others like Yamaha FZ series and Suzuki Gixxer use non-ABS disc brakes and halogen headlights as standard. This means those with strict budget could also enjoy the CB Hornet experience through the decently loaded variant. Apart from the upgraded models, Honda xBlade was also launched recently with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 78,500. It has been specifically made for buyers with more interest in commuter style riding. Honda CB Hornet ABS is expected to get INR 10,000 worth of price hike for these additional features.
