Hero Xtreme 200R Deliveries Commenced: Hero MotoCorp recently launched the 200cc Xtreme in India for INR 88,000 (ex-showroom price). An authorized Hero MotoCorp Dealer in Guwahati recently posted some photos on Facebook making it clear that the deliveries of Xtreme 200R have begun in the North-Eastern states of the country. The bike is available in only one variant which comes with double disc brakes and 1-channel ABS as standard.

We must say that the brand has priced the 200cc Xtreme very aggressively and it undercuts the ABS models of Bajaj Pulsar NS200 and TVS Apache RTR 200 by around INR 24,000. For now, Hero has listed the price for a limited number of states and they will be updating the website in coming days.
Hero uses a frugal 199.6cc, air-cooled, single cylinder engine producing 18.1 BHP at 8000 rpm and 17.1 Nm at 6500 rpm. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox. They have claimed 39.9 kmpl of certified mileage while 0-60 kmph takes just 4.6 seconds. Claimed top speed for Xtreme 200R is 112 kmph.

Going with the competition, Hero Xtreme 200R offers digital-analog instrument console, 148 kg of lightweight body and single channel ABS for the front wheel. The bike is equipped with a 276mm front disc brake and a 220mm rear disc brake.
The brand is offering Red, Red Black, Silver Black, Blue and Orange Black color combinations on Xtreme 200R. Seat height of Xtreme 200R is 795mm, making the motorcycle pretty impressive in terms of user comfort while putting feet on ground. A considerable hump in rear seat height guarantee sporty side profile.
