Bajaj Dominar 400 is currently the most powerful motorcycle around its price tag. No other motorcycle under INR 1.40 lakh has the potential to beat the same in terms of acceleration and top speed.
The massive 373.2 cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected engine is good for 35 PS at 8000 rpm and 35 Nm at 6500 rpm. This makes the motorcycle a great choice when seen from the mid range riding viewpoint. The rise in power suddenly ends at 8000 rpm and beyond that, the scope of racing a Dominar gets finished in few seconds.

Chase Video: Bajaj Dominar 400 Unable to Overtake TVS Apache RR 310S
A recent speed chase between the new TVS Apache RR 310S and Bajaj Dominar 400 reveals the same story on a national highway. Dominar is seen chasing the full-faired motorcycle but seems to fail every time and it simply can't overtake the Apache RR 310S! The two probable reasons for this result includes the lower weight and higher rev band of the Apache RR 310S. The motorcycle is equipped with a 313cc, liquid cooled and fuel injected engine producing 34 PS at 9500 rpm and 28 Nm at 7500 rpm. You can notice the difference in their rpm range. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxuXT3mRaU0Chat with TVS Factory Riders
BMW G310R claims a top speed of 143 kmph while it weighs 158.5 kg. This means that TVS Apache RR 310S could weigh anything around 165 kg and would claim a much higher top speed with its fully faired design. Lower drag at higher speeds make the Apache more effective when compared to Dominar 400 on the highway. Another video from Moto Stories shows us the closeup of the rear end of the Apache RR 310S. The TVS factory riders can even be heard talking about the launch to take place after nearly 1 year from the present month. But they might be wrong as TVS recently announced that Apache RR 310S will come around July-August 2017. Videos Source: Moto Stories (YouTube)Ad
