According to a recent report, the all-new Benelli 302S streetfighter is expected to launch in India by early 2020. The news has been confirmed by Benelli’s Global Instagram handle where the officials confirmed the launch of the motorcycle as a reply to a fan asking for details. The Benelli 302S will be replacing the outdated TNT 300 in most markets including India. The 302S is the same machine as the TNT 300, getting some important updates in the form of a BS6-compliant engine, unique styling, new feature list, and attractive colour options. The model also features an all-new digital instrument console for effective rivalry. Article image The blue backlit console is available with a clock on the top left corner and all remaining values are seen within the semi-circular tachometer. The rectangular screen in enclosed in a uniquely shaped console while standard bar-type handlebar on the 302S remains the same as the India-spec Benelli TNT 300. Article image The front end of the motorcycle comes with a sharp headlight design, enclosing a projector and LED light in a very impressive pattern. The model retains the dual front disc brakes with 260mm diameter and petal-type design. On the other hand, the rear disc measures 240mm. Both the ends are secured with dual-channel ABS. Benelli 302S is using the same 300cc, twin-cylinder engine, producing approx 38HP of power and 25.6Nm of torque. However, the values have been tuned slightly according to the fuel conditions of different countries. The output for India is expected to stay the same as the current-gen 302R. Article image The motorcycle is available in China in various colour options but the most attractive one seems to be the Neon Green shade with matching alloy wheels. The seat height for the model remains feasible at 795mm while the ground clearance may feel limited at just 140mm (unladen). The Benelli 302S is expected to get an ex-showroom price tag of around INR 3.20 lakh in the Indian market.
