2021 Benelli 302R Revealed Ahead of Launch in India: The next-gen model of Benelli 302R has been officially unveiled ahead of its official launch in the Indian markets later this year. Talking about the looks, the motorcycle now features an entirely different front-end design with an all-new headlight, front visor, headlight panels, and rearview mirrors.
In addition to these changes, the 2021 Benelli 302R features slightly different side fairing panels and rear underseat panels. The motorcycle has been revealed featuring new red-black and green-black colour combinations which further feature all-new graphics and decals. One of the other major changes is that the new model is also equipped with an all-digital full-colour TFT instrument console.

The sportbike looks less bulky now and it is a whopping 22kgs lighter than the last-generation model. Coming to the technical specifications, as expected, Benelli has updated the 300cc parallel-twin engine to meet the stricter Euro5 emission norms, which are equivalent to the BS6 emission norms. The 2021 model is good for 34.5HP of maximum power at 11,000 rpm and 27Nm of torque at 9,000 rpm.
In comparison, the BS4-compliant model was capable of churning out a maximum power of 38.2HP and a peak torque of 26.5Nm. So the new model generates 3.7HP less power and 0.5Nm more torque. The engine remains mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

The 2021 Benelli 302R is equipped with 41mm USD forks at the front and a monoshock absorber at the rear. The disc brake setup at either side continues to be mated to a dual-channel ABS unit as standard.
The updated model of 302R is expected to be launched in the Indian markets sometime later this year though there has been no official confirmation received on the same. The brand is expected to reveal more information on the India launch of Benelli 302R in the coming weeks.
In terms of pricing, the 2021 Benelli 302R is expected to be priced around INR 3 lakhs and it would be competing with the likes of Kawasaki Ninja 300, which is available in India with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 3.18 lakhs.
