Bajaj Auto has finally launched the much-talked-about Pulsar 125 Split Seat model in India with an ex-showroom price tag of INR 79,091. The top-spec Split Seat model is based on the disc brake variant of the Pulsar 125 Neon. The new variant will be available in three colour options: Neon Green (on Matte Black shade), Black Silver and Black Red.
In addition to offering a split-seat setup, the brand has also offered a bunch of cosmetic updates to the top-spec model of the Pulsar 125 Neon. It gets an underbelly pan as well as fuel tank extensions as seen on the Pulsar 150 Twin Disc. In addition to getting a split seat, the bike also features a split grab rail which further adds to its unique appeal. It is expected that Bajaj Auto will list the Pulsar 125 Split Seat model on its official website in the coming days.
Powering the Bajaj Pulsar 125 Split Seat is a BS6-compliant, 125cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine that is capable of churning out a maximum power of 12 HP and a peak torque of 11 Nm. The engine is further mated to a 5-speed gearbox. You can click here for the complete technical specifications of the Pulsar 125 Split Seat model.
Commenting on the launch, Sarang Kanade, President, Bajaj Auto said: "We are excited to bring out a new Pulsar 125cc variant offering. Pulsar 125 launched in August last year, soon became one of the fastest-growing Pulsar variants with more than 1 lakh bikes sold within first 6 months of launch. The new Pulsar 125 Split Seat will attract premium commuter segment customers who have always wanted to buy a sporty motorcycle with outstanding performance, style, and thrill at an amazing price point. While the last few months have been testing times for both the industries and consumers alike, we hope the new Pulsar 125 Split Seat variant will re-ignite consumer interests and receive an equal amount of love, admiration and acceptance such as that of the Pulsar 125."
