2019 Bajaj Dominar 400 has been confirmed with a DOHC engine, leaving buyers with no complaints of performance as well as refinement levels. The new engine setup is good for 40 HP of peak power and 35 Nm of max torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox with different ratios for better initial performance. The rpm range on the tachometer ends at 13,000 while those who need an enjoyable ride will need to hover between 7000-9000 rpm on the new Dominar. Article image Apart from the engine, the new motorcycle features USD front forks, all-new exhaust design, updated console screens, and better paint finish. The powerful sports tourer now weight 184.5 kg, gaining 2.5 kg of overall weight in comparison to the 2018 35 HP Dominar variant. As the new model gains traction in the sub-400cc segment, the rivals are now felt overpriced with the lack of technology in their engines. Even the new Auroral Green shade feels exclusive on the 2019 Bajaj Dominar 400. Article image
