The tagline claimed that driving at 40 kmph over a pothole led to this uneven destruction of the motorcycle from the rear end. Things became fishy when various Dominar owners started claiming the act false as brakes of the bike were effective enough to save the rider who recently started moving from a red light. A crack in rear alloy wheel cannot be expected on this speed at all. The 373.2cc, single cylinder engine is good for 35 PS and 35 Nm of torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox and uses slipper clutch for ease of operation. Dominar 400 is priced at INR 1,41,000 for the base variant.
