2025 Renault Kwid (Dacia Spring EV) Revealed for India

Dacia has unveiled the new-gen Spring EV hatchback globally, which previews the next generation Kwid for our market. It features a major overhaul in exterior and interior compared to the model sold in India and gets plenty of safety upgrades as well. Renault has unveiled the 2025 Renault Kwid, known as the Dacia Spring EV in some markets, for the Indian market.

Electric Drivetrain

Apart from the new 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, the 2025 Kwid comes equipped with a 7-inch digital driver’s display, connected car tech, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto connectivity, power windows, steering-mounted controls, Type-C USB charging ports, cruise control and 12V power socket. The Kwid EV also boasts vehicle-to-load charging. Moving on to the interior, the 2025 Kwid features a minimalist cabin, highlighted by the new 10-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system. The overall cabin sports an black theme with contrasting white and grey plastic elements seen throughout. It gets new rotary dials for HVAC controls and boasts semi-leatherette upholstery which you can expect on higher-specced variants when it comes to India. The interior of the 2025 Renault Kwid is also expected to receive significant updates. The seats are expected to be more supportive, and the cabin is likely to be quieter, thanks to improved insulation.
