Suzuki's Gixxer motorcycle series is a popular model in the company's lineup. They do well not only in domestic markets but also contribute to Suzuki exports from India. Suzuki Motorcycle India recently updated the Gixxer range to increase its appeal in 2023.

This entire collection now has new colour schemes and the Suzuki Ride Connect feature is now available as an option on all models. Suzuki has also raised the prices of its Gixxer models. The Gixxer 155 costs Rs 1,40,500, while the SF 155 costs Rs 1,45,000 and the Gixxer 250 costs Rs 1,95,000. The Gixxer SF 250 costs Rs 2,02,000, while the Gixxer SF 250 dual-tone variant costs Rs 2,02,500 (all prices ex-showroom).

Gixxer 250 is now available in Metallic Matte Black No.2 and Metallic Matte Stellar Blue. Glass Sparkle Black, Metallic Sonic Silver/ Pearl Blaze Orange, and Metallic Triton Blue are among the colour schemes available on the Gixxer 155 Series. Metallic Matte Black No.2, Metallic Matte Stellar Blue, and Metallic Sonic Silver/ Metallic Triton Blue are now available for the 2023 Gixxer SF 250.

This price increase is Rs 5,700 for the Gixxer 150, Rs 8,500 for the Gixxer SF 150, and Rs 13,600 for the Gixxer 250. The top-of-the-line Gixxer SF 250 is now Rs 10,400 more expensive. The naked Gixxer and Gixxer 250 are street motorcycles, while the faired Gixxer SF and Gixxer SF 250 are sports bikes.

The Suzuki Gixxer is powered by a 155cc engine with 13.8 hp and 13.8 Nm torque and a 5-speed transmission. The Gixxer 250 series features a 249cc engine with 26.2 hp and 22.2 Nm torque, mated to a 6-speed transmission.

The Bajaj Pulsar 160 NS, TVS Apache RTR 160, Honda X-Blade, Yamaha FZS, and Hero Xtreme 160R continue to compete with the Gixxer 155 and Gixxer SF 155. In its class, the Gixxer 250 competes with the Yamaha FZ-25 and the KTM Duke 250.
