Can you live with the Aerox 155's lack of storage space and flat floorboard?

It's honestly a pain for everyday use. I really miss being able to carry bags between my feet, and not having a flat surface to rest your feet on for longer rides. Fun rides are great, errands not so much.

It is something that takes a little while to get used to but is doable. I added a small front basket for extra storage. It's a trade off for the sporty ride and looks.
Can you live with the Aerox 155's lack of storage space and flat floorboard?

I commute daily, and I don't think it's practical. There’s limited storage and I always seem to end up taking the car for the most basic of errands. Now it's more of a weekend fun ride for me.

Adapting your lifestyle is all it’s about. I’ve started to use backpacks and learnt how to pack properly. The bobmyness of the Aerox is far more outweighed by the joy of simply riding.
So is the Aerox 155 worth the premium over your regular scooters?
07 January 2025 10:28
Absolutely worth it! Basically, the Aerox is a sports bike in scooter form. The R15 level performance without the hassle of gears is what you get. Ideal for commuting through city traffic, or weekend jaunts.
So is the Aerox 155 worth the premium over your regular scooters?
07 January 2025 10:28
It's honestly overkill for most people. Yeah, it’s fun, but a normal 110cc scooter will do the job just fine for daily commutes and grocery runs for half the price.
So is the Aerox 155 worth the premium over your regular scooters?
07 January 2025 10:28
It’s dependent on what you value. The Aerox is great if you want something unique and like spirited riding. If you’re just after practical transport, there are cheaper alternatives that make more sense.
So is the Aerox 155 worth the premium over your regular scooters?
07 January 2025 10:28
There’s a premium for the build quality and the features it offers. You get better suspension, wider tires and more powerful brakes. It has nothing to do with the engine, it's the whole package.

If you mix some city and highway riding I'd say it's worth it. It’s far more versatile than a regular scooter thanks to the extra power and stability at higher speeds.
Is the Skoda Octavia a 'dad car' or can you be cool in one?
07 January 2025 05:33
Definitely cool on the vRS version. It's like a sleeper suit wrapped around Golf GTI.
Is the Skoda Octavia a 'dad car' or can you be cool in one?
07 January 2025 05:33
Don’t get me wrong, it’s still a dad car, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be cool. It’s cool because it’s practical and fun to drive at the same time.
Is the Skoda Octavia a 'dad car' or can you be cool in one?

Depends on the spec. A base model? Yeah, pretty dad-ish. It looks sharp, but deck it out with some nice wheels and the black pack, and it looks sharp.
Is the Skoda Octavia a 'dad car' or can you be cool in one?

Cool is subjective. I like the idea of a car that does everything well but doesn't do it in a flashy way.
Is the Skoda Octavia a 'dad car' or can you be cool in one?
07 January 2025 05:33
If you only care what others think, then it’s only uncool. I couldn’t care less about the "dad car" label; I love mine.

The right mods can make the estate version look pretty badass. How you style it is all.

Okay, it’s never going to be ‘cool’ cool. It's cool, but in a grown, understated way.
Do you get what you pay for in the Skoda Kylaq’s interior?
07 January 2025 05:29
I honestly think the Kylaq's interior is a step up from most rivals. The design is clean and modern and the materials feel more premium. It’s not luxury car level, but it’s a step up from the average mass market SUV.
Do you get what you pay for in the Skoda Kylaq’s interior?

I disagree. I went to the showroom and checked it out and it's nice to look at but there is still a lot of hard plastic. At the price they're asking, I expected more. In cheaper options like the Hyundai Venue or Kia Sonet you can get similar quality.

It's a mixed bag for me. The rear is a bit plain but the front feels great. If only they would have tried harder to make the back seats feel as premium as the front. It all comes down to the fact that overall build quality seems solid.
Do you get what you pay for in the Skoda Kylaq’s interior?

It’s good, not great, inside. With Skoda what you are paying for is the driving experience and build quality. If you want bells and whistles, a Korean or Indian brand might be the better way to go.
