The actual top speed of Hero Hunk 2016 is 112 kmph with a city mileage of 40kmpl, mileage at highway of 50 kmpl and a combined mileage of 45 kmpl. The bike can accelerate from 0-100 kmph in less than 15 seconds and 0-60 kmph in less than 5 seconds. The Hero Hunk 2016 is an efficient bike with some of the good handling and riding features that gives out a decent performance. Even it's the right value for money especially for those who are not willing to go for Bajaj Pulsar.

Hero currently lists the Impulse in the available bikes but most of the above 125 cc bikes of Hero (Impulse, Achiever, Karizma R and ZMR) are not being produced as their already made units are selling at a very low speed. Hero's next update on their website will surely end this confusion and they may delete the bikes which have been discontinued or not being carried forward to the next generation. Impulse is a nice bike with good power to weight ratio and an excellent India friendly ground clearance. The lesser popular dirt bike design of the Impulse lead to its limited approach among the 150 cc bike buyers. You can easily get one from a Hero dealership on order.

The new born Himalayan is a better option than going for the traditional Thunderbird 350. Himalayan offers versatile riding abilities including comfortable cruising, easy city riding and the favorite part of it being where no roads exist. The motorcycle is a great combination of power and efficiency whereas it 410 cc engine producing 24.5 Hp and 32 Nm of torque is much better than the older 346 cc unit from the Thunderbird. Both the bikes are mated to a 5-speed gearbox while the Himalayan costs INR 1,55,500.

The TVS Apache RTR 300, better known as Akula 310 is currently not in production and may get displayed as a production product in the coming months. You can contact TVS motors directly after the product launch and they may help you with the export formalities and product description. Currently it is expected to share its engine with BMW G310R and may loose many premium parts when getting under its testing phase.

The only major difference between Activa and other scooters is the sales number, which is nearly 4-5 times more for an Activa than the nearest scooter competitor. Activa comes in 3 different body styles namely Activa-i, 3G and Activa 125. Theses are powered by 2 different engines measuring 110 cc and 125 cc. It even uses the spring loaded suspension on the lower 2 restraints whereas the competitors offer telescopic forks and many more options in the same segment. It lacks mobile charging, seat height adjustment, disc brake and underseat light in the 3G and Activa-i variant.

It would be the best option for him while you may even consider his own choice as he may like faired bikes more than these street fighter types. It comes with Honda CBS for efficient braking and buying the dual disc variant would be a better option than the single disc one.

Yamaha R15-S currently offers 3 shades namely Adrenalin Red, Track White and Spark Green. All of them are priced at INR 1,15,241 and use a single, long seat for comfortable pillion ride. It is powered by the same 149 cc engine producing 17 PS and 15 Nm of torque. It comes mated to a 6-speed gearbox. There are no chances for the introduction of new shades to the R15-S in the coming months but Yamaha may offer them around the festive season.
