The KTM RC 125 has already been launched in India. The initial launch occurred in June 2019 at an introductory price of Rs 1.47 lakhs . Later, an updated version of the KTM RC 125, known as the Gen-2 model, was launched in November 2021, priced at Rs 1,81,913 . However, as of April 2025, KTM has decided to discontinue the RC 125 in the Indian market due to the inability to upgrade the 125 cc engine to meet OBD-2D norms, making it economically unviable[5).
