What is this "Silent Start" feature on the Honda CB Shine all about?
For a long time now, Honda has been tooting the horn about the 'Silent Start' technology on the CB Shine. They say it helps make starting the bike smoother and quieter with some fancy ACG (Auto Charging Generator) system. Is it really all it’s cracked up to be? It’s a game changer; some riders swear, others think it’s just marketing fluff. So is it worth paying extra for it? Does it make enough of a noticeable difference in everyday use to matter? Is it detrimental to the bike's reliability? We’ll take this feature apart and see if it’s really revolutionary or just another bells-and-whistles addition to a commuter bike.
Nice, but is it worth the extra cost? I’d rather spend that money on better tires or something.
