What is the XBlade’s performance on long rides?

The Honda XBlade is mainly sold as a commuter bike, but some riders ride it for longer trips. It’s unclear how comfortable it would be or how well it would perform on long trips. How do you hold up in the seating position over several hours? Is the fuel tank big enough to tour on? At highway speeds, does the engine stay smooth? In this post, we'll talk about what the XBlade can do for touring and if it can be a viable option for folks looking for a bike that can sometimes hit the open road for longer trips.

Surprisingly well! I've done a few 300 km trips on my XBlade, and it was completely comfortable. It really helps with the upright seating position on long rides.

For short trips, it's ok, but for serious touring I don't recommend it. On long rides, frequent stops are annoying because of the small fuel tank.

For weekend getaways, I find it great. It’s a smooth engine at higher speeds, and the seat is comfy enough for a few hours at a stretch.

And it’s not built for touring, plain and simple. Want a long-distance bike? Look elsewhere. The XBlade is perfect for city commutes.

It can take long rides pretty well with a few modifications, like a better seat and a windscreen. It's decent stock, but not great for touring.

I've done a 500km round trip on my XBlade, and it was all good. Not comfortable, but it is doable. The trick is to break it up.

Long rides, though, it’s actually pretty good for its segment. On longer journeys it reduces fatigue with good bump soakage.
