Honda Civic Hybrid uses a hybrid power-train and cannot be charged directly by plugging in a socket as the system generates power for itself through brake energy regeneration and saves power by automatically switching of the engine. It first came with a 5-speed gearbox 15 years ago but now offers just CVT for a better drive. It is not available in India but internationally starts with a price tag of $ 24,750. The price goes up by selecting a highly loaded variant.
