So, does the Pulsar N250's LED headlight live up to the hype in real world conditions?
Bajaj has gone out of the way to market the Pulsar N250's LED headlight as a standout feature, and one that provides better illumination and visibility than a typical halogen setup. This is generating a lot of interest amongst potential buyers and existing Pulsar owners. Yet, the real world performance of LED headlights can often vary from the claims made in marketing, particularly in the face of fog, rain or when driving in the darkness of a rural road. Riders often argue over the effectiveness of LED headlights versus traditional halogen bulbs, when it comes to beam spread, intensity, and how far you can see obstacles. It also discusses how the N250's headlight performance stacks up against other bikes in its class, and if it really does make night riding safer.

The auto headlamp feature is the real game changer, the light is good. Especially when entering tunnels or underpasses, it’s so convenient.

From an older bike, the N250's headlight is a revelation. It’s not perfect, but it’s a huge step up in terms of visibility and safety.

I also added auxiliary lights to go along with the stock LED. Together, they're awesome. The stock light is just alright, not game changing stuff.

It's also crisp and clear LED which is great for spotting potholes. In foggy conditions, it can be a little glarey, but that’s it.

It's a mixed bag. Good for city riding but on pitch dark roads I miss the warmth and depth of a good halogen setup.

I'm impressed with it. It lights up the sides of the road very well and the throw is good. Much better than my old Pulsar 220F.

The beam spread could be better, but it’s definitely brighter than the old halogen lights. I still want more illumination on dark highways.
