Nissan Magnite 10-year extended warranty in 2026: does it offset service-network, CVT upkeep and resale concerns?
Nissan's paid extended-warranty programme for eligible privately registered New Magnites can run up to 10 years or 2 lakh km. Nissan states that cover is comprehensive through year seven, while years eight to ten are limited to engine and transmission. The 10-year option applies to New Magnites launched from October 2024 with the three-year standard warranty; the buyer's quotation and contract still control the exact price and exclusions.
What should a buyer verify?
| Area | Check in writing |
|---|---|
| Eligibility | Build/registration date, private-use status and purchase deadline |
| Coverage | Parts, exclusions, claim process and the year-eight narrowing |
| Local support | Nearest competent authorised workshop and CVT-maintenance capability |
| Ownership fit | Annual kilometres, planned hold, transfer terms and resale expectations |
Would this long cover materially improve your Magnite decision, or would workshop access, transmission upkeep and resale still matter more? Share the city, variant, transmission and planned ownership period you would use for the comparison.
