Is the Hyundai Tucson value proposition still the best thing on the block?

In higher trim levels, the Hyundai Tucson is equipped with a wealth of features and a level of refinement that could easily put some entry level luxury SUVs to shame. It's an advanced tech, upscale interior materials with comprehensive safety features vehicle that is being positioned as a value alternative to more expensive brands. But that also means that fully loaded Tucsons can come close to the price of base model luxury SUVs from Audi, BMW, or Lexus. At first glance, it does beg the question, how much of that can the Tucson really compete with the main stay established luxury marques on quality, drive experience and brand prestige? Advocates say the Tucson provides better value for the money, coming with more features for less money while cynics say the luxury brand experience and higher resale value justifies the premium.
