Is the 2024 Pulsar 220F still relevant?
Practically unchanged for over 15 years now, the Bajaj Pulsar 220F has been around. But with newer bikes having more features and tech, do these look outdated, or is there still a place for that old school sports tourer? Unlike modern bikes, it has no LED lights, digital displays or ride modes. However, it has a dedicated fanbase that claims to be extremely reliable and will tour. Many riders still love the semi faired design and punchy engine. Strict emission norms and increasing cost have pulled up the price of this product significantly over the years. Is the Pulsar 220F a smart buy in 2024 or is it time for Bajaj to retire this iconic model?
Absolutely! The 220F is a timeless classic. It’s not going to have all the bells and whistles of a newer bike, but it’s got character and reliability that’s hard to beat. It's been 7 years since I own mine and it is still running like a champ.
