How does the Pulsar N250 handle compared to its competitors?

For many riders, handling characteristics are important, whether they want to run twisty roads or have to drive through traffic in the city. The design of the Pulsar N250’s chassis is new and Bajaj says it offers improved stability and cornering. Opinions differ, however, as to exactly how it does in real life conditions versus other bikes in its class. It is nimble, but not as nimble as some riders would like. Talks about how is fares against rival counterparts like Yamaha FZ25, Suzuki Gixxer 250, even the KTM Duke 250, on handling, stability at high speeds and maneuverability take place. The debates over handling also involve the suspension setup and the tire choice that Bajaj might have chosen so as to be optimal.

The N250 is a touch too soft for aggressive riding, I've found. For cruising and gentle cornering it is great but hard push it and the suspension setup will feel its limits.

At this price point, you can’t expect supersport level handling let’s be real. The N250 handles for what it is. Predictable, no surprises – what most riders in this segment want.

I think people are not considering the tire factor. The N250 comes with decent stock tires but replacing them with some stickier rubber really makes a world of difference in handling. It transforms the bike.

As the N250 came from a KTM Duke 200, I was expecting to be disappointed with the handling. But I was pleasantly surprised. It's not as razor sharp as the Duke, but it's easier to live with day to day and is more forgiving.

The N250 is spot on for handling as a daily commuter. Yet somehow it’s nimble enough for city traffic yet stable on the highway. It’s a good balance for the most situations.

In reality, I believe the FZ25 has the upper hand in handling. The N250 is good, don’t get me wrong, but the FZ’s chassis just feels more intuitive when you’re pushing it.

I’ve ridden both the N250 and the Gixxer 250 and I gotta say, the Pulsar feels more planted in corners. While it’s not as flickable as the Gixxer, there’s more confidence when you’re really leaning into a turn.
