What are some features or design characteristics that make it better (or worse) than other bikes in its class for monsoon riding? What CT110X ES owners recommend for safer monsoon commuting? I've never had any major issues, just upgraded to better tires however, and that made a huge difference in wet conditions.

Light rain is fine, heavy downpours I avoid. On slippery roads, I am nervous because there is no ABS.

It handles better, I think, than some more expensive bikes I've tried. Visibility is an aid from the upright riding position.

Not great, not terrible. It works, but I feel I ride much more cautiously during monsoons.

It's okay if you're careful. Some aftermarket mud flaps made a big difference for splash protection.

In heavy rain I've had some scary moments. The headlight could be brighter and the drum brakes aren't great when wet.

It's surprisingly good! The way the tires work may be decent to run on a wet road. Just be careful and don’t brake to much.
