Can adults travel in the XL6’s third row on long trips?

The XL6 is a six seater premium MPV. But the third row is often discussed as usable, if at all, for adults on longer trips. Here we discuss the real world practicality of the XL6's seated arrangement, from leg room to comfort and accessibility. Also is discussed the effect of this third row on the overall versatility and luggage capacity of the vehicle. The talk around this topic is usually about comparing with other MPVs and if the XL6’s configuration is actually a benefit or more of a marketing point.

I tend to use it quite often for family trips. As long as you rotate seating positions throughout the journey, there is nothing wrong with it.

No third row in this segment is great for adult people. But, like every other car, the XL6 is not terrible.

Well, I think it’s size dependent. I’m 5’8” and I can pull it off, but my taller friends complain.

If you just adjust the second row it's actually not bad. They also make it easier to get in and out of the captain seats.

It's more of an emergency option, the third row. I fold it as I usually do for extra cargo space.

I have done a 500km trip with adults in all rows. It's not luxurious, but you can do it if you take breaks.

It’s fine for short trips, but I wouldn’t want to be back there for an hour or two at most. Fine for kids though!
