Is Suzuki planning to discontinue the Hayate commuter bike?
Suzuki has currently shown no signs of discontinuation of their commuter motorcycle Hayate. The bike has came in a new avatar and comes with a 112 cc engine, producing 8.18 BHP and 8.8 NM of torque. It is available with electric and kick start option, with a 4 speed gearbox on all the trims. It has drum brakes on all the wheels and reaches a top speed of 90 kmph. The fuel efficiency stays at 60 kmpl and the price is said to be around INR 49,000. The 10.5 liter of fuel tank carries 2 liter of reserve fuel and the bike comes with 114 kg of weight, when full with fluids. Ground clearance is 165 mm, making it good for Indian roads.
