I am 6 feet tall, which one should I buy – Harley-Davidson Street 750 or KTM RC 390?
02 January 2023 06:44
Both the bikes are excellent performers and define an affordable way of maintaining performance as well as the brand name. KTM RC390 is the most value for money performance bike of India as no other machine at just INR 2,14,000 would bring a 0-100 kmph sprint time of 5.7 seconds. It comes with a single cylinder 373.2 cc engine while on the other hand, no other Harley Davidson or similar capacity bike can be bought for INR 4,69,000. The 750 cc, twin cylinder motor produces 59 Nm of torque and sprints from 0-100 kmph in just 6.15 seconds. The 229 kg cruiser versus the 166 kg supersport machine is a tough decision but the only factor that can help you in choosing one is your budget and preferred riding style. I would suggest you to keep your Classic Chrome with you and then buy the RC390 as it would bring both the cruiser and supersport team to your garage.

Launch Date of KTM RC 390 (2016 upgraded model)?
02 January 2023 06:37
The 2016 KTM RC390 has been launched in India on 10 February, 2016. The bike gets a new slipper clutch, and an always “on” headlight. However, it has missed out on some features available in the European market such as a bigger front disc, a ride-by-wire system and a canister exhaust. The bike's price has remained unchanged at INR 2,13,504 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Coming to comfort, the bike isn't ideal for daily driving. Firstly because city drives crowded with traffic jams, and the RC390 absolutely hates this, it heats up like crazy. Secondly, the riding position is very aggressive, and the pillion seat is a little uncomfortable. The RC390 is a machine built for the tracks, so unless you're completely mad about the bike, don't use it as a daily commuter. 02 January 2023 06:34
The KTM RC390 can hit a top speed of 210 kmph with the modifications related to its weight reduction and track oriented part exchanges. Firstly, the bike needs to shed some weight, which is done by removing all the additional parts required for a road legal motorcycle. This includes rear foot rests, mirrors, headlights, mudguards and many of the parts are replaced with lighter carbon fiber parts. The heavy exhaust system is also replaced with a free flow exhaust and rest is done through modifications of the ECU, increasing some red-line limit if possible. These modifications are not possible on a real life road as many parts are illegal and track based only.
