As for myself, I think it’s overkill for a commuter. It's well built, yeah, but do you really need tank-like build quality to ride to work? Just the same, a cheaper bike will get you there.

No way. It's a city bike, pure and simple. At highway speeds, the small engine struggles and you'll be exhausted after an hour. Stick to short trips.

Honda CB Trigger is a better option when compared to its newly launched Livo. The Livo is highly inspired from the Trigger and shares some of the styling elements with the same. Trigger gets a 149.1 cc engine producing 14.35 BHP @ 8500 rpm and 12.5 NM @ 6500 rpm. The gearbox on the bike is a 5-speed unit and the seat height stays good at 780 mm. The bike comes with a top speed of 110 kmph and returns a mileage of Honda claimed 60 kmpl. The best part is its pricing, which is good when compared to the others ion the segment. It starts at a price tag of INR 68,667.

Honda Livo is a good bike as it creates a decent balance between style and economy factor of a motorcycle. It gets a good front end design, specially the muscular look of its fuel tank. The rear gets a sharp tail light and the bike looks good from all the ends. The best part is ts 109.19 cc engine producing 8.25 BHP @ 7,500 rpm and 8.63 NM @ 5,500 rpm. It gets a 4-speed gearbox and claims a mileage of 74 kmpl, easily returning 55-60 kmpl in real life conditions. It gets 180 mm of ground clearance for better Indian road handling whereas the price has been kept at INR 52,989-55,489.

The 4-speed gearbox is smooth and offers a good performance with keeping the economy on mind. It gets nice styling elements, most out of which are derived from the bigger segment bikes of Honda itself. It gets a sport body design, with tank cowls for more aggressive approach and sharp taillight for a sport bike look. It comes with a price tag of INR 52,989-55,489. You can get a disc brake option on the higher end of the price tag whereas the lower side offers drum brake for both the wheels.
