The Bajaj XCD has been discontinued a long time back and you would have to buy a used XCD, which would definitely have certain amount of errors in its parts. The rear shocker problem occurs in most of the bikes as dirt keeps on getting deposited on the shockers, making them lesser efficient in few years. the problem can be solved easily by refilling the shocker and applying new seals onto it. What should we do to increase mileage of Bajaj XCD 135 & what is the cost of new meter of same?
02 January 2023 06:32
The Bajaj XCD 135 when driven between the speed of 45-55 kmph returns the best mileage and I personally have obtained much higher figures in the past. You should check the level of engine oil in the bike and even consult a mechanic as consuming engine oil points to the direction of engine seizing problem in the future. You should also get your air filter cleaned after every 3,000 km as it gets stuck with a lot of dirt due to our Indian weather conditions. You should get your carburettor tuned to a better efficiency level as wrong tuning increases fuel consumption. You will definitely receive a mixed mileage figure close to 60 kmpl if you follow these 3 steps and get it checked from an experienced mechanic or authorized Bajaj service center. The new meter can also be bought from the same sources and you can inquire about its cost from the concerned personnel at the service center.

The Bajaj Pulsar AS200 would get more refined as its first 3 services are done. The vibrations are generally caused at higher rpm's and high speeds. The bike gets a refined engine in the form of 199.5 cc liquid cooled motor. You should not worry as frequent servicing would make the ride quality better day by day and the pickup would increase after the service also. My height is 5’4”, Is Bajaj Pulsar AS200 good for me?
02 January 2023 06:32
Bajaj AS200 comes with a seat height of around 805 mm, making it problematic for you to ride the bike in traffic as well as stop and go conditions. It is advisable to go for some other bike with similar power values but lower seat height. The best option would be the upcoming Bajaj Avenger Street 200 or the ongoing Avenger 220. The newcomer is expected to be launched this month with the same 199.5 cc, 23.17 BHP and 18.3 NM engine. This makes it the most suitable choice as per your needs. You can even consider other versions of the Avenger launching aside with the same. It is expected to stay below the INR 91,550 price tag of the Bajaj Pulsar AS200.

02 January 2023 06:32
The lock set for Bajaj Wave would be rarely available with the spare part dealers. You can consult your nearest Bajaj authorized spare part retailer or a mechanic to recommend some other brand's lock set, which could be successful fixed on the scooter. After discontinuation of a product, the spare part problem is a sure shot consequence and companies ruin their reputations by not providing any support after the same.
I am confused, which bike should I buy – Bajaj Pulsar RS or TVS apache 180 ABS?
02 January 2023 06:32
TVS Apache RTR 180 ABS would be a better option if you do not consider faired bikes to be better than other body types. It comes with the most practical approach in the Indian motorcycle industry, providing the most affordable double channel ABS on a motorcycle. Even the RS200 comes with single channel ABS only. It comes with a 177.4 cc engine producing 17.3 BHP @ 8500 rpm and 15.5 NM @ 6500 rpm. The gearbox is a 5-speed unit and the bike comes with a ground clearance of 165 mm. The best part comes to its weight, which comes out to be 139 kg only. The Pulsar RS200 gets a 165 kg of body weight. The RTR 180 ABS comes with a price tag of INR 87,112 whereas the lesser equipped Pulsar comes with a tag of INR 1,30,000. This makes the RTR 180 ABS a better ride over the RS200.
Is Bajaj going to re-launch the Pulsar NS200 in 2015?
02 January 2023 06:31
With the rumoured relaunch of the older version of R15 and the relaunch of CT100, I would say anything is possible now in the automotive world. The Bajaj Pulsar NS200 was a favourite among street bike lovers and discontinuing the same was a very wrong decision from Bajaj Auto. They could have limited the availability to a certain number for a better classification of the recent generation Pulsars. The Pulsar has actually not been removed fully as the same is said to be done after the festive season. The Bajaj Pulsar AS200 is said to be the successor of the NS200, which actually is a semi faired NS200 with more features and better refinement values.

02 January 2023 06:31

The delay for the launch of Bajaj 150NS is hinting a negative scope for the NS series in India. Bajaj has recently announced that it will discontinue the 200 NS soon, with the chances also being that the 150 NS is terminated from the Indian list of launches and Bajaj rather focuses on the new CS series of Pulsars. The Bajaj 150 NS is said to be powered by the same engine as the AS150, making out 16.8 BHP from its 149 cc engine. It was expected with the same design and body panels as that of the 200 NS. Will Bajaj Update its Boxer BM series?
02 January 2023 06:31

The Boxer BM150 has no planned change for the engine or an upgrade to 160 cc or 180 cc. The bike would remain the same for a lot more time as Bajaj Auto's is currently focusing on its 200 cc and 400 cc segment lineup, launching new bikes here in India. it is more focused currently toward the performance segment as its tie-up with KTM has opened the new doors of more refined and improved Pulsar's. The Boxer may anytime get the updated 16.8 BHP 149 cc engine but chances are low as the same would put the cost factor on high side, with the fuel efficiency going as low to 40 kmpl. Bajaj may introduce new adventure series bikes worldwide, with better suspension and good performance. That would not be all, the adventure bikes would be offered at much lower prices than the high price tag bikes available currently worldwide.
