Is Bajaj Pulsar LS135 long lasting & durable for me in a hill-station (Mussoorie)?
02 January 2023 06:34
Pulsar 135 LS gets a powerful 135 cc engine producing 13.3 BHP. The maximum torque being produced by the same is 11.4 NM. The engine is good when riding single in Mussoorie but its low torque factor makes it feel weak while riding double on the motorcycle. The bike gets a light weight and sleek body design, making it advantageous on narrow roads and curves but on the other hand, its riding position is not as comfortable as other bikes in the segment. Considering Yamaha SZ-RR version 2.0, the engine produces 11.9 BHP and 12.8 NM of torque. This makes it good for double riding and the sitting position makes it more comfortable for longer rides. It gets an addition of INR 2500 to the INR 63,549 price tag of Pulsar LS135.

Which 125cc bike is best? Confused? Hero Glamour PGM-Fi or Bajaj Pulsar 135LS?
02 January 2023 06:33
Hero Glamour is a better option when considering a bike in the 125 cc segment. The Pulsar 135LS is quiet powerful but its built quality is not upto the mark. A lot of vibrations are found in the Pulsar when riding fast, making the ride quality lower than others in the segment. Going for 125 cc bike is a better opinion and the 124.7 cc engine from the Hero Glamour is an excellent unit. It produces 9 BHP and 10.35 NM of torque, returning a mileage of 55 kmpl. The bike comes with a 13.6 liter fuel tank, making it good for 700 km stretch at a single refill.
Why the mileage of KTM RC 200 is better than Bajaj Pulsar 220F?

KTM RC200 has a better mileage because it comes with better technologies than the Pulsar 220 DTS-i. When will Bajaj launch NS150 & what would be the price?
02 January 2023 06:33
The Bajaj Pulsar NS150 has been under the spotlight from a long time. Bajaj was differentiating all the Pulsars into their respective departments like AS, RS, NS and CS but suddenly discontinued the NS200 as a part of increase of production of the AS series. The move was odd as the completion of series were getting close with the launch of NS150. Now, it can't be exactly said that they will produce the NS150 for Indian market or carry it only for other developing markets like Africa and South America. The NS150 had the same engine as AS150 and would be built on the same frame and assembly line. If not launched in year 2015, it would be out from the list of vehicles as CS series would overtake the initiative on the upcoming Pulsar list. It was expected with a price tag of INR 75,000.
What should be done to get the optimum mileage from Bajaj Pulsar AS200?
02 January 2023 06:33
The mileage factor in a Pulsar can only be seen if you ride the bike between a speed of 50-60 kmph, that too in the top gear for most of the time. In current traffic conditions, the same possibility is not possible practically. You should try to choose you daily route which gets less traffic, which directly means less braking. You should switch off the engine on traffic lights and clean your air filter and fuel delivery system at regular intervals. The bike should be driven with appropriate air pressure in the tyres as less would reduce mileage whereas more would reduce traction.
