Relevant? Maybe. Exciting? Not at all. It’s the bike equivalent of plain white bread.

It's all about attention-seeking behavior. Loud=cool they think, but it’s just bothersome to everyone else.

In fact, some exhausts actually increase performance a little. It's not all about the noise.

It’s too quiet for stock exhaust. Some people go too far with it, but a slightly louder one does make the ride more enjoyable.

Can two people ride comfortably on the Pulsar 125 Neon?
29 January 2025 09:59
For short city trips, I ride with my girlfriend, it’s fine. On shorter rides, the lack of power isn't an issue, but it’s noticeable on longer rides or highways. It's doable, but not ideal.
Can two people ride comfortably on the Pulsar 125 Neon?
29 January 2025 09:59
It is honestly a bit of struggle with two people. It takes a hit on the acceleration, and you really feel it on inclines. Good for emergencies, but not for regular two up riding.

It's not bad! The pillion was definitely more comfortable on the split seat version. And riding double is just that, don't expect to break any speed records.

I think it works better at two up riding than most 125cc bikes. The extra weight is handled pretty well by the suspension. Remember, though, that braking distance is reduced.
Can two people ride comfortably on the Pulsar 125 Neon?

It's used by my wife and I for our weekly market runs. It’s enough for both of us, but I wouldn’t want to do a long tour with a pillion on this bike.
Can two people ride comfortably on the Pulsar 125 Neon?

It's all about expectations. Well it does a decent job for a 125cc. It’s not as comfortable as a bigger bike, but it does the job for short rides around town.
Can two people ride comfortably on the Pulsar 125 Neon?

It really depends on the weight of your pillion, I have found. With my kid brother it’s ok. With an adult friend it is a little underpowered. Depending on your usual passenger, this is something to think about.
Is the Pulsar 125 Neon a good beginners first bike?
29 January 2025 09:59
I began on a Pulsar 125 Neon and I feel it’s good for those first starting out. Just enough power to be fun, but not so much that it is scary. It’s also easy to handle in traffic.
Is the Pulsar 125 Neon a good beginners first bike?
29 January 2025 09:59
It’s a really good first bike but I would probably suggest something like Honda CB Shine to absolute beginners. Newbies may find the Pulsar a bit 'jumpy'.

I learned on this bike and I loved it. It’s forgiving if you make mistakes and the controls are intuitive. It’s great for building confidence before tackling bigger bikes.
