The Pulsar RS200 is a precisely engineered product as Bajaj has invested a lots of time in coming up from these problems. The chain noise issue has been overcomed in the new series and the noises have been significantly reduced. Vibrations have also been reduced but after crossing 110 kmph, they will surely make a comeback.

Bajaj may have not completed its final testing stage for the new Pulsar 150NS, otherwise the launch was expected to be in the last week of April. The 150 NS was spotted in a production ready camouflaged piece and will be launching this month only. It will be powered by the same engine used in the Bajaj Pulsar AS150.

The Bajaj Pulsar 150 NS is expected to be launched in May 2015, with no exact date from Bajaj Autos. The Pulsar would be a smaller version of 200NS and will have the same engine as that of the AS150. It will be priced around INR 75,000.

You can increase the mileage of your Bajaj CT100 by driving it between the speeds of 40-50 kmph. The other way is to decrease the fuel flow into the engine, which may result in motorcycle knocking at very low speeds. You can get your air filter cleaned and carburetor tuned at required periods of time.

The top speed of Bajaj Pulsar SS400 is expected to be same as that of KTM RC390. Both the bikes use the same engine, therefore keeping the basic performance same. The change in the body fairing and weights of the bikes may result in some speed change, which would be a minor value. Both use the 373.2 cc engine, producing 43 BHP.

The Bajaj Avenger is currently available with the 220 cc engine and rumors about a 200 cc Avenger have been around from quiet a long time. Bajaj is focusing mainly on Pulsar brand at the moment and they will not be dealing with the Avenger till all the Pulsar cards have been exposed. We expect to have the same 200 cc engine in the Avenger which is shared in the Pulsar family at the moment.

The Bajaj Pulsar AS150 is expected to deliver a combined mileage of 45 kmpl. Bajaj has tuned its engine for maximum performance this time, side by side keeping an eye on a reasonable figure for the mileage of the bike. It is powered by a 149.5 cc engine, producing 16.8 BHP @ 9500 rpm.

The Bajaj Pulsar RS200 has been launched in two shades till yet and in 15 selected cities only. We expect that Bajaj will launch the other shades(Blue and Black) with the nationwide launch of RS200. The bajaj Pulsar 180 is faster than the Suzuki Gixxer SF. However, the 25 cc difference between both the bikes makes a segment difference as being a 155 cc bike, the Suzuki Gixxer achieves 127 kmph. The Pulsar figure goes only 4 kmph above making the term clear that the Gixxer is really a very good performer.

Bajaj has no launch plans for its Avenger offering as the 200 cc Avenger is still a rumor only. Firstly it will cover all the Pulsar engines and types and then will the time for Avenger arrive. The Avenger 200, if launched, will have the same 200 cc engine as the Pulsar RS200, 200NS and AS200.

The 2008 model Bajaj Pulsar 220 can be brought from any website dealing in second hand vehicles like olx and quickr. You will see the bike as DTS-Fi as the 2008 model came with fuel injection and also you can have a non faired version for the same. Please get the bike checked before buying as few problems including the starting up of the bikes are listed as the most familiar problem of 220 DTS-Fi.

The Bajaj 220F is one of the best selling bike for Bajaj Autos and all time favorite of the Pulsar fans. It is powered by a 20.8 BHP, 220 cc engine and its unique type of exhaust made it the best bike of its time. Bajaj has no plans to discontinue the bike as they are willing to sell all the Pulsars side by side.

The Bajaj Wave 110 is a discontinued automatic scooter model from Bajaj Autos as Bajaj has plans only for the manufacturing of motorcycles. They have made it clear that whatever the profit percentage be in the scooter segment, they will stick to the motorcycle side only.

In this case, the RTR 180 is definitely a better choice than the much awaited Pulsar 150 NS. The RTR wins in terms of power production, engine size, safe riding(double disc brakes) and the top speed issues. The RTR has a very nice sitting position and the TVS racing DNA inside makes it a very quick response bike. Also it has been priced at INR 75,800 which matches the value of Pulsar 150NS.

The best bike out of all these is the Apache RTR 180 ABS. The bike offers safety features like dual disc brakes, dual channel ABS and nice, grippy tyres. The engine powering this beast is a 177.4 cc, single cylinder motor producing 17.03 BHP and 15.5 NM of torque. It comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox and costs INR 87,282.

The Bajaj Avenger would be better option than waiting for the UM Global Renegade Commando as its launch plans has still not been made clear. UM will enter with its basic motorcycles first and later would introduce the higher range. The Avenger is powered by a very successful 220 DTS-i engine, which also powers the all time favorite Pulsar 220F.

The Bajaj Platina ES will have slight vibrations when driven above 60 kmph. The problem is not only for the Platina but with most of the 100 cc offerings, the vibrations will exist. The better built quality would lead to lesser vibrations, but avoiding the vibrations has not been possible till date.

The best one out of the above would be the Yamaha FZS v2.0, which uses the most advanced technologies out of all the above bikes and also has the most comfortable ride in the segment. It comes with a 149.5 cc engine, which has been downgraded from the earlier version, uses fuel injection and comes with the widest tires in the segment. Overall its the best option from all the above bikes.

The best one out of above all will be the Pulsar RS200. It's a full value for money machine, costs around INR 1.18 lakh for the standard and INR 1.30 lakh for the ABS version. It comes with dual projector headlamps and a full body fairing. No doubt the KTM 200 Duke can perform well to compete the RS200, but the features offered in the Pulsar are one of its kind in the segment.

It is a bit tad vague to compare Pulsar 200 NS and Suzuki Gixxer SF as the former is a naked bike in the 200cc segment and the latter is a fully faired bike in the 150cc segment. Suzuki Gixxer SF is the best motorcycle in the 150 CC segment as of now (2015). 

The amount of power, the styling and looks, the handling and braking abilities that it offers in its price bracket (Rs. 96k approx. on road Patna) is highly commendable. If you compare any bike in the 150cc segment with Gixxer SF then it will come out with flying colours, hands down. 

You can also check out such comparisons on the web. Coming on to the Pulsar 200NS. It is a powerhouse bike in the 200cc segment. It offers a lot of power and amazing naked muscular looks but it lags behind a bit in the handling and braking department. 

It is on the stiffer side in handling and the braking is not that good owing to its not so good tyres. It is priced at approx. 1.05 lakhs on road Patna. You would now be thinking that when you are getting more power in almost the same amount of money then why go for Gixxer SF? 

But do know that Pulsar 200NS has to offer more power as it is a 200cc bike. Also, Suzuki Gixxer SF is the cheapest fully faired bike in India as of now (2015). Both bikes are good value for money products in their respective segments. My call would have been Suzuki Gixxer SF. Now it's up to you to decide whether you want to have a 150cc bike or a 200cc bike.
