Pulsar AS200 does not come equipped with ABS & FI(Even Optional). RS200 has both FI & ABS(Optional) features.

The bike is an excellent option for daily commuting as it brings the blend of power with a decent mileage figure. The AS200 would be the best option for you as the bike return a mileage of 35 kmpl in city whereas the AS150 would return a 40 kmpl in city conditions. Both the bikes are excellent machines but the AS200 comes with an additional disc brake and wider tyres for both front and rear wheel. The engine is liquid cooled and is much more powerful than the AS150. You can easily take the bike on any road condition, mountains and highways, with much more ease than the smaller Adventure sport bike. It comes with a price tag of INR 91,550 which is an impressive one for a bike like AS200.

Bajaj is in the process of discontinuing the 200NS ....and it is very true after the launch of the AS 200..the best Pulsars were the models that launched between round headlights till the year 2004 since they never compromised on quality.. And now since they know people are no way going to buy their bikes, they have compromised a lot on quality.

Recently I bought AS200. First time I had gone to showroom to book 200NS, but there one guy told that Bajaj has launched new version AS200, Which is modified version of NS200 with added feature & price of this bike is same as NS200 & Bajaj will discontinue 200NS & also Bajaj is planning to increase price of AS200 by 3-4k in next few months.
I don't think Bajaj will discontinue NS200 cause buyer of 200NS & AS200 are different, If Bajaj is planning to increase price of AS200 then definitely Bajaj will not discontinue 200NS model. cause Bajaj is trying to cover all category buyers, that’s why they have launched different versions with same engine, E.g. NS-Naked street- for city riders AS-Adventure Sport- for Tourers (With some off-road capability) RS-Race Sport- for racing enthusiastic CS- Cruiser sport-For lovers of cruiser bikes

Dude, go for Pulsar AS200 ..it’s the best bike ever.. I own AS200 .. you don’t feel like geeti down once you ride this bike. Good control...air balance n damn good in terms of looks and style..

Go for KTM 200 duke, it has much better specification than others like, max bhp, max torque, fuel injection system, top speed , acceleration etc.

KTM Duke is best sports bike in India because it has more bhp power and torque and very quick pick up in comparison to other bikes. KTM Duke is best racing bike.

Pulsar AS200 is a complete value for money bike. You will get lot of features (Projector Headlamp, Mono suspension, Windshield, High ground clearance), power, looks in this bike. If your budget permits then go for CBR250R (ABS). AS200- Best for Touring, City, Off-road KTM200- Street fighter (Best for short distance racing, not comfortable for touring) CBR250R- Best bike for city, touring, ABS is optional(Price is much more, almost double to AS200) CBR150R- Good but costly than AS200.(Power is less, 150CC engine) Karizma R/ZMR- Smooth refined engine(but looks are bad, no features such as Monoshock suspension, Tubeless tyres(in Karizma R), Projector headlamp) Overall Pulsar AS 200 is the best choice among above mentioned bikes.

For Pulsar RS 200 you will get mileage about 36 kmpl and AS 200 - 38 kmpl and AS 150 - 45 kmpl (tested)

The mileage of Pulsar AS200 and Pulsar RS200 totally depends on the way both the throttles are twisted. Lets consider the ideal driving conditions, with a medium city traffic and 70 percent highway ride. The difference in the mileage between both the bikes would be 1-3 kmpl only. The Bajaj Pulsar AS200 will return 34-36 kmpl whereas the RS200 will return 33-35 kmpl. The basic reason behind this would be the heavy weight of the front fairing of Bajaj Pulsar RS200 and the slight difference in its engine tuning. Even with the different riding styles of two riders, the bikes can deliver equal mileage too.
