Own both and the 4.7L is better in every way. Aston has somehow taken all 4.3L feedback and made the perfect engine.

The 4.3L is charming if you like working the engine hard. However, the extra torque of the 4.7L is a godsend for everyday driving.

The engine is only a part of it. Most of the 4.7L cars will also have other upgrades that make the entire package better. It is not just a bigger engine, but an evolution.

In public, you would have a hard time telling the difference unless you were really pushing it. Both are fantastic engines.

Automotive nirvana is a good exhaust on a 4.3L. On paper, the 4.7L is better, but there is something magical about coaxing every bit of power out of the 4.3L.

If you're buying used, go 4.7L. It is the engine Aston wanted to put in the car from the start, and it should have better resale value.

Aston’s Vantage is, surprisingly, quite practical. It’s not as refined as a 911 for sure, but it has character that the Germans simply can’t match.

German rivals win hands down. The infotainment is ancient on the Vantage, and good luck finding a cup holder that works.

I have no problem with my Vantage that I daily. It’s not as comfortable as an AMG GT, but that’s not why you buy an Aston, yeah. It's about the experience.

For daily use, I would trust the Porsche over the Aston any day reliability wise. Less headaches, more driving.

Not as bad as you would expect. In mixed driving I average about 18 mpg. Gentle driving can put it over 20 mpg on highway trips.

I get about 15 mpg but I can’t bring myself to drive it any slower than I do, and I enjoy the sound of that V8 too much. Worth every drop of fuel!

Driving is everything. And it's reasonable to treat it like a normal car. Drive it the way it should be driven and your local gas station attendant will be your new best friend.
