USER OPINION

Our take on this /// Verdict
The Volkswagen Vento AllStar Diesel is a solid choice in the compact sedan segment, particularly for those who value robust build quality and strong performance. The 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel engine, producing 103.5 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, is a standout feature, offering excellent power delivery and a smooth driving experience. The 7-speed DSG automatic transmission enhances the convenience and driving pleasure. However, the Ventos design, although clean and contemporary, has started to look a bit dated compared to newer models. Additionally, the base and mid-range variants lack some modern features, which might be a drawback for some buyers. Overall, its a well-rounded car that excels in build quality, performance, and handling, making it a good option for those prioritizing these aspects.
Price
The Volkswagen Vento AllStar Diesel is priced competitively in the Indian market. The ex-showroom price for the diesel variants starts around Rs. 9.63 lakh and can go up to Rs. 14.49 lakh for the top-of-the-line automatic trim. On-road prices, including taxes and other costs, can range from approximately Rs. 11.5 lakh to Rs. 17 lakh, depending on the state and local taxes. Given its features, performance, and build quality, the Vento AllStar Diesel offers good value for money, especially when considering the long-term reliability and lower maintenance costs associated with Volkswagens German engineering.
