Tata Nano EV (Electra) Updates

The news was first confirmed earlier this year, when the former chairman himself received an electric version of the Nano from the Pune-based Electra EV start-up which he founded himself. This has led to speculations that the company is indeed working on a completely new, built from the ground up, born-electric version of the Nano. The company is yet to reveal any further details about the project, but it is expected that this electric Nano will be powered by a battery pack and is expected to come with a range of features like a digital instrument cluster and a touchscreen infotainment system. It is also expected that the new EV will be priced competitively, making it a viable option for those looking for an affordable electric car.

The company has been working on the development of the electric version of the Tata Nano for a while now. The launch will mark the beginning of a new era for the company. The new vehicle will be powered by a 48V Li-Ion battery pack that will offer a range of up to 140 kilometers. The electric version of the Nano is expected to be priced around Rs. 4-5 lakhs.
