The Tata Indica eV2 GLE LPG was launched with a 1.2-litre multi-point fuel injection (MPFI) engine, featuring two electronic control units (ECUs) in a master-slave configuration. This setup allows the engine to start on petrol and automatically switch to LPG, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by about 10%. The engine delivers 65.3 PS of power on petrol and 62 PS on LPG, with a peak torque of 102 Nm. I think this dual-fuel technology was a significant step towards eco-friendly driving.
