Our take on this /// Verdict
The Tata Harrier Kaziranga AT is a compelling option in the SUV segment, especially for those who value a blend of ruggedness, comfort, and features. The Kaziranga edition brings a unique aesthetic with its earthy tones and special badging, which sets it apart from the standard Harrier. While the passenger seat comfort has been a point of contention, with some owners noting it falls short compared to other models like the Renault Duster AWD, the overall build quality and sturdiness of the Harrier are commendable. The vehicle excels in long drives, thanks to its comfortable driving position, good NVH levels, and a robust 2.0L turbocharged engine. However, the lack of height adjustment for the passenger seat and the need for more powerful ventilated seats are notable drawbacks. Despite these, the Harrier Kaziranga AT remains a solid choice for those seeking a reliable and feature-rich SUV.
Price
The Tata Harrier Kaziranga XZA Plus variant is priced at 22.21 lakh ex-showroom in India. When you factor in the on-road costs, including registration, insurance, and other charges, the price can escalate to around 26-28 lakh, depending on the state and local taxes. This pricing positions the Harrier Kaziranga AT competitively within the mid-size SUV segment, offering a balance of features, performance, and comfort that justifies the cost. The price includes a plethora of features such as a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, a JBL-tuned sound system, and advanced safety features like six airbags and electronic stability program. Given the comprehensive package, the Harrier Kaziranga AT offers good value for money.
