Renault KWID RXT (1000cc) Updates

Renault has introduced a festive season offer for the KWID, including benefits of up to Rs 65,000. This move is aimed at boosting sales during the festive period. The offer makes the KWID even more attractive in the budget segment. I think this is a great time to consider the KWID if youre in the market for a budget-friendly car.

The Renault KWID 1.0 RXT is available in 10 vibrant colors, including Fiery Red Dual Tone, Metal Mustard Black Roof, and Zanskar Blue Black Roof. This variety of colors gives buyers a range of options to match their personal style. I believe the dual-tone options really stand out and add a stylish touch to the car.

Renault has launched the Night & Day edition of the KWID, which is based on the RXL(O) variant. This limited edition comes with dual-tone exterior paint and sportier looks, making it a unique offering in the market. The Night & Day edition is priced at Rs 5 lakh, making it an attractive option for those looking for a stylish budget car.

The Renault KWID 1.0 RXT features a 999 cc engine that produces 67.06 bhp of power and 91 Nm of torque. It also comes with a 5-speed manual transmission and has an ARAI-certified mileage of 21.46 kmpl. This makes it a reliable choice for daily commuting. I think the engine performance is quite satisfactory for its segment.

The KWID 1.0 RXT is equipped with several safety features, including dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, and a rear parking camera. These features enhance the safety of the vehicle, making it a good option for budget-conscious buyers who dont want to compromise on safety. I believe these safety features are a significant selling point for the KWID.

The Renault KWID 1.0 RXT comes with a range of convenience features such as an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, power windows, and a manual air conditioner. These features make the driving experience more comfortable and enjoyable. I think the infotainment system is particularly user-friendly.

The KWID 1.0 RXT has a spacious boot with 279 liters of storage capacity, which is quite generous for a car in its segment. This makes it suitable for both daily use and occasional long trips. I believe the boot space is one of the standout features of the KWID.

Renault has priced the KWID 1.0 RXT at Rs 5.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi), making it a competitive option in the budget hatchback segment. The on-road price, including RTO and insurance, comes to around Rs 6.10 lakh in Delhi. This pricing strategy is likely to attract more buyers. I think the pricing is quite competitive given the features and performance.

The KWID 1.0 RXT features keyless entry, central locking, and an engine immobilizer, enhancing the security and convenience of the vehicle. These features are particularly useful for urban drivers who value ease of use and security. I believe these features add significant value to the car.

The Renault KWID 1.0 RXT has a fuel tank capacity of 28 liters and an estimated city mileage of 18 kmpl, which is reasonable for a petrol car in its class. This makes it a practical choice for daily driving. I think the fuel efficiency is quite good considering the engine size.
