Nissan India celebrated the first anniversary of the Terrano by launching a limited Anniversary Edition of the compact SUV. This special edition is available in two variants: XV D THP and XV D THP Premium, priced at Rs. 12,83,645 and Rs. 13,13,725 respectively (ex-showroom, Delhi). The Anniversary Edition features a contrasting roof, rally stripes on the hood, and a rear spoiler, along with a unique Head-Up Display system. I believe these cosmetic and technological upgrades make the Terrano a more appealing option in the compact SUV segment.

The Nissan Terrano Anniversary Edition comes with several exterior styling changes, including a black roof, black stripes on the bonnet, and blackened wing mirrors. Additionally, it features chrome accents on the door handles and tailgate, along with side steps and sporty decals. Inside, the XV D THP Premium variant includes leather seats, wood finish on the door armrests, and a Head-Up Display that shows directions, speed, and time. I think these additions enhance the overall look and feel of the vehicle.

Nissan has introduced the Terrano Anniversary Edition with a focus on exclusivity, limiting the production to just 450 units. This move is seen as a strategy to capitalize on the festive season in India. The special edition is powered by a 1.5-liter K9K diesel engine, producing 108.5bhp and 248Nm of torque, paired with a six-speed manual transmission. I believe this limited production run could make the Terrano Anniversary Edition a sought-after model.

The Terrano Anniversary Edition is available in six color options: Bronze Grey, Blade Silver, Fire Red, Sterling Grey, Storm White, and Pearl White. The interior features include a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob, rear parking sensors, and a height-adjustable drivers seat. The top-end variant also gets leather seat upholstery and faux wood interior trim inserts. I think the variety of color options and the additional interior features make this edition quite attractive.

Guillaume Sicard, President of Nissan India Operations, stated that the limited Anniversary Edition is an invitation to customers to celebrate the Terranos success. The introduction of a Head-Up Display in this segment is a significant feature, especially considering it is the first time such technology has been offered in a car under Rs. 15 lakh in India. I believe this innovative feature will be a major selling point for the Terrano Anniversary Edition.
