Mercedes has given mid-life facelift to the C-Class Sedan and the 2013 C-Class has been launched in India. The new model was unveiled at the 81st Geneva Auto Show. The New Mercedes C-Class is going to be a legend in its class. It is destined to make a difference in the sedan class. The Mercedes C-Class has the body of a saloon and possesses the same amount of strength and speed for an exhilarating driving experience. The exterior of the car is adorned with very grand and elegantly done radiator grille on the front which is chrome finished. The bumpers and side trims along with the waistline trim and boot lid handle all are the standard exterior styling composites. The interior of the car is very comfortable and driver-oriented. The seats are ergonomically designed and fitted with lumbar supports for maximum amount of ease and comfort for the driver. Mercedes C-Class Exterior

Mercedes C-Class Interior

The Mercedes C-Class is one of the most commodious cars in its sector. The interior shoulder room and the elbow room are 1390 millimetres and 1440 millimetres respectively. Engine and Gearbox

The 1.8 litre, inline-4 cylinder petrol engine generates maximum power of 186 bhp at 5600 rpm with maximum torque of 285 Nm at 2400 rpm. The diesel engine has displacement of 2.2 litre inline- 4 cylinder, which generates maximum power of 204 bhp at 4200 rpm and maximum torque of 500 Nm of torque at 1600 rpm.

Safety Features

The safety features included in the Mercedes C-Class are anti-lock brakes or ABS brakes that routinely checks when any of the tires has stopped turning under extreme pressure when braking. The system will help the wheel to rotate by modulating the brake pressure so the driver can turn the vehicle while braking especially during emergency situations. The stability control feature mechanically spots it when the vehicle’s control limits have been surpassed and cuts the engine power and uses select brakes to aid or stop the driver from trailing control over the vehicle. Seat-belt pretensioners have been added to mechanically tighten seatbelts to keep the occupant in the best seating position during a smash. The anti-whiplash head restraints dynamically respond to back collision forces and cradle the occupiers head to prevent any chances of a whiplash injury. Mercedes-Benz C-Class comes with a security system that detects unsolicited vehicle invasion. The car is fitted out with an ignition restrict device that will stop the machine from starting unless the person uses the correct manufacturer key of the car.

This vehicle comes in different shades starting from the inside such as Ash Black, Cappuccino Red, Almond Beige, Almond Mocha and Sahara Beige.
