The Hyundai Xcent subcompact sedan has been removed from the companys India website, marking the end of its production in the country. This move follows the launch of the new-generation model, the Hyundai Aura, which replaced the Xcent. I think this was a necessary step to make way for more modern and feature-rich models.

Hyundai introduced a factory-fitted CNG version of the Xcent Prime, targeted at fleet operators. This variant was available in two trims, T and T+, priced at Rs. 5.93 lakh and Rs. 6.12 lakh respectively. I think this move was smart, as it catered to the growing demand for CNG vehicles in the fleet market.

Hyundai launched the Xcent E Plus Diesel variant, which came with a 1.2 U2 CRDi diesel engine producing 73 horsepower and 190 Nm of torque. This variant included features like chrome radiator grille, internally adjustable ORVMs, and front power windows. I think this variant offered a good balance of power and features at an affordable price.
