Honda Amaze S Updates

The new Honda Amaze, set to launch on December 4, 2024, will feature a radical new design inspired by the Honda Civic and Accord. The front design includes a hexagonal grille, sleek LED headlights with integrated LED DRLs, and an aggressive lower bumper. This fresh look is expected to give the Amaze a more modern and upscale appearance. I believe this new design will significantly boost the Amazes appeal in the competitive Indian market.

Honda Cars India has confirmed that the new Amaze will retain the same 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, producing 90 PS of power and 110 Nm of torque. The engine will be paired with a 5-speed manual and a CVT transmission. This decision suggests that Honda is focusing on proven reliability rather than a new powertrain. I think this is a wise move, given the engines established performance and efficiency.

The interior of the new Honda Amaze is expected to be significantly upgraded, featuring a larger 10-inch free-standing touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a semi-digital instrument console, and a single-pane sunroof.
