There has been no recent news on the revival of the Ford Endeavour Diesel Titanium MT (4x2) variant, as Ford India has focused on other trims and variants. The market has seen a shift towards automatic transmissions, which has influenced Fords product strategy.

The Ford Endeavour Diesel Titanium MT (4x2) variant has been discontinued by Ford India. This decision was made as part of the companys strategy to streamline its product offerings and focus on more popular variants. The base variant was previously priced around Rs. 30 lakh, and its discontinuation has led to a price hike for the remaining trims.

The discontinuation of the Titanium 4x2 MT variant has led to a simplified product lineup for the Ford Endeavour, with customers now having fewer choices but more streamlined options. This move aligns with Fords global strategy to optimize its offerings.

Ford India had previously announced that the prices of the 2020 Endeavour range would increase by up to Rs. 70,000 from May 1, 2020, following the introductory pricing period. This price adjustment affected all variants, including the Titanium 4x2 AT.

In 2020, Ford India introduced the BS-VI compliant Ford Endeavour, which included the Titanium 4x2 AT variant, although it did not offer a manual transmission option for this trim. The new 2.0L EcoBlue diesel engine provided improved fuel efficiency and performance. I think this move was a step in the right direction, given the increasing emphasis on emissions standards.

The 2020 Ford Endeavour, including the Titanium 4x2 AT, featured a new 10-Speed Automatic Transmission, which was a significant upgrade from the previous models. This transmission, paired with the 2.0L EcoBlue engine, offered enhanced driving dynamics and fuel efficiency. I believe this transmission made the Endeavour a more appealing choice in its segment.

The 2019 facelift of the Ford Endeavour, which would have included the Titanium 4x2 MT if it were still available, brought minor cosmetic updates and new features. However, this facelift did not include the manual transmission variant.

Although the Ford Endeavour Diesel Titanium MT (4x2) is no longer available, the 2018 model of this variant was notable for its panoramic sunroof and other premium features like leather upholstery and cooled seats. These features added to the comfort and luxury of the vehicle. I think these features were a great addition to the Endeavours appeal.

The Titanium 4x2 MT variant of the Ford Endeavour was never part of the BS-VI lineup, as Ford had already discontinued the manual transmission models in 2017. This decision was likely due to declining demand for manual transmissions in the SUV segment.

Despite the discontinuation, the legacy of the Ford Endeavour Diesel Titanium MT (4x2) remains, known for its robust 2.2L TDCi engine and manual transmission, which appealed to a specific segment of buyers who preferred a more hands-on driving experience. I think this variant will be missed by those who enjoyed driving manuals.
