Discussions and Questions - Maruti NEXA Ignis Maruti NEXA Ignis
Does the Ignis's styling help or hurt its appeal?
31 December 2024 08:09
It's a double-edged sword. It’s a quirky design, and that gets attention, but it also has a lot of people turning around and saying ‘well, that’s a weird looking car,’ without really paying attention to what it actually is.
Is the Ignis’s high seating position a gimmick, or a genuinely useful characteristic?
31 December 2024 08:09
I think it's mostly a gimmick, and I don't think it's a gimmick I'd like to have. It’s not like you’re sitting in an actual SUV, but you do sit a little higher. It just makes the car feel even taller and less stable.
So, if reviews are positive why isn’t the Ignis selling as well as other Maruti models?
31 December 2024 08:09
The Ignis isn’t marketed as aggressively as Maruti’s other models. They seem to let it sell itself but in such a competitive market that doesn't do the trick.
Does the Ignis' small exterior size compromise interior room, or is it actually spacious inside?
31 December 2024 08:09
It's surprisingly spacious! It really makes the most of interior room with its boxy design. For short trips I have no problem fitting four adults comfortably.
Do owners really mean it when they say the Ignis is a fun car to drive?
31 December 2024 08:09
If you've never ridden an Ignis before, I can tell you it's way more fun than you'd expect. With a light weight it feels nimble and the engine has a surprising amount of punch in such a small engine.
