So, if reviews are positive why isn’t the Ignis selling as well as other Maruti models?
Owners of the Maruti Suzuki Ignis have mostly positive words to say about the car, with praises for its compact size, fuel efficiency and unique styling. But it doesn't sell as well as many other Maruti models, even those in the same price band. This gap between owner satisfaction and market performance has sparked conversation about what is holding the Ignis back from selling as well as it could. The reasons are many, including the niche positioning of the car in the market, or competition from Maruti's own lineup. The car's marketing strategy is also up for debate over whether it communicates its strengths to prospective buyers or if there are something else at play that is preventing its popularity.
I think that’s because the Ignis finds itself in a weird space in Maruti’s line up. The Swift is not as practical and the Baleno not as premium feeling.
