BMW Z4 is powered by a N54 type engine that is a direct injection twin-turbocharged straight-6 automobile engine from BMW. This engine has won five ‘International Engine of the Year’ awards. The 3.0-liter six cylinder inline petrol engine of this roadster makes 2979cc of displacement. The power produced by this engine is 306 bhp at 5800 rpm and the maximum torque generated is 400 Nm at 1300 rpm.
