Latest Updates
Wednesday, 05 June 2024 03:11 AM The new BMW 1 Series, entering its fourth generation, has been revealed with updated styling, modern technology, and a new naming convention for gas-fed models. The car features a smaller grille and sleeker headlights, though the design has been described as somewhat bland. The interior boasts dual screens with BMW’s latest iDrive 9 infotainment system. The M135 model stands out with its turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder hybrid setup, producing 296 horsepower. I think the new design is a step forward, even if its not revolutionary.
Wednesday, 05 June 2024 09:11 AM BMW has announced that the new 1 Series will be available with an optional contrasting roof paint finish, a first for the brand. The car also features a dynamic design presence, highly efficient engines with 48-volt mild hybrid technology, and improved chassis technology. The interior includes the new BMW iDrive with QuickSelect and innovative digital services based on BMW Operating System 9. This new feature adds a nice touch of personalization.
Sunday, 18 February 2024 07:02 AM The 2024 BMW 1 Series has undergone significant changes, particularly in its interior, which now includes a Curved Display layout merging the touchscreen and digital instrument cluster. The car also features mild-hybrid technology for the first time and a redesigned front end with a smaller grille. All models use a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and front-wheel-drive. I believe this tech upgrade will make the driving experience more enjoyable.
Sunday, 18 February 2024 07:15 AM BMW is set to revitalize its entry-level models in 2024, including the 1 Series, which will skip the usual facelift and go straight to the next generation. The new 1 Series will be slightly longer, wider, and taller than its predecessor, with a cargo capacity of 380 liters. Production is expected to start in July 2024. This move shows BMWs commitment to keeping their models fresh.
Monday, 15 January 2024 07:39 AM The new BMW 1 Series has been praised for its outstanding interior quality and driving dynamics. However, it has some drawbacks, such as a small boot and a ride that is too firm. The car comes with standard equipment including heated front seats and a reversing camera, but adaptive cruise control is an expensive optional feature. I think the trade-offs are worth it for the driving experience.
Wednesday, 20 December 2023 08:32 AM BMW has confirmed that the new 1 Series will not include diesel engines or manual gearbox options. Instead, it will offer three petrol-powered engines, including the range-topping M135 hot hatchback with 300hp and all-wheel drive. The car also features advanced safety features like autonomous emergency braking and rear parking sensors. This simplification of engine options might appeal to those looking for ease of choice.
Friday, 10 November 2023 07:09 PM The 2024 BMW 1 Series has seen improvements in reliability, continuing the trend of its previous generation. It comes with a three-year unlimited mileage warranty, extendable up to 100,000 miles, and a 12-year anti-corrosion warranty. This should provide peace of mind for potential buyers.
Sunday, 15 October 2023 05:22 PM BMW has updated the 1 Series with a new look and an updated cabin, making it a strong contender in the premium hatchback segment against the Audi A3 and Mercedes A-Class. The interior quality has been enhanced, with soft and solid materials, and impressive tech features like a huge curved display. I believe this update will keep the 1 Series competitive.
Monday, 25 September 2023 01:18 PM The new BMW 1 Series features advanced chassis technology, including increased body rigidity and optimized kinematics, which enhance its agility and steering precision. The car also includes innovative digital services and remote software upgrades, allowing for continuous improvement of vehicle functions. This focus on performance and tech is a win for driving enthusiasts.
Sunday, 20 August 2023 04:20 PM BMW has announced that the new 1 Series will be produced at the BMW Group plant in Leipzig, with its market launch scheduled for October 2024. The German domestic market and Japan are among the top sales regions for this model. This production move highlights BMWs strategic planning for global markets.
