Audi R4 Updates

The 2024 Audi S4 has seen significant updates, including the addition of adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistance, and parking sensors as standard features. A heated steering wheel and remote ignition via the myAudi app are also now included. These enhancements make the S4 more attractive and practical for daily use. I think these updates will make the S4 a more compelling choice in the compact luxury sedan market.

Audi has introduced a new RS 6 Avant performance and RS 7 performance for 2024, but the S4 remains a potent option between the mainstream A4 and the high-performance RS models. The S4 retains its 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine, producing 349 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque, paired with an eight-speed Tiptronic transmission and quattro all-wheel drive. This setup allows the S4 to go from 0-60 mph in just 4.4 seconds. I believe the S4 strikes a great balance between performance and comfort.

The 2024 Audi S4 maintains its understated exterior design, which might appeal to those who prefer a low-key appearance despite its high-performance capabilities. The interior, however, is equipped with high-quality materials and features like leather upholstery, S sport seats with massage function, and a sunroof. The S4 also comes with advanced technology, including a Virtual Cockpit instrument cluster display and a Bang & Olufsen sound system on higher trims. I think the subtle design is a plus for those who dont want to draw too much attention.

Audi has updated its 2024 models, including the S4, with expanded connected technology. The new Audi App Store is integrated into most 2024 models, supporting both proprietary apps and third-party services like Spotify and Amazon Music. This enhancement adds to the S4s appeal as a modern and connected vehicle. I believe this will be a significant selling point for tech-savvy buyers.

The 2024 Audi S4 starts at around $55,000, with higher trims like the Premium Plus and Prestige offering additional comforts and features. The Premium Plus trim includes a 360-degree camera system, an upgraded sound system, and wireless phone charging, among other amenities. I think the pricing is competitive, especially considering the performance and features offered.

In terms of performance, the 2024 Audi S4 is capable of going from 0-60 mph in 4.4 seconds, thanks to its 3.0-liter turbocharged V6 engine and eight-speed automatic transmission. The S4 also features a torque-vectoring Sport differential on the rear axle, which enhances handling and reduces understeer. I believe this makes the S4 a strong contender in the compact luxury sports sedan segment.

The fuel economy of the 2024 Audi S4 is rated at 21 mpg city, 29 mpg highway, and 24 mpg combined. While not the best in its class, these numbers are acceptable given the vehicles performance capabilities. I think a hybrid assist could further improve these figures, but for now, its a trade-off for the power.

Audi has continued to refine the S4s suspension and handling, making it comfortable over long distances while still delivering sharp handling. The adaptive suspension and sport differential work well to keep the chassis flat through corners and provide a smooth ride on various road conditions. I believe this balance between comfort and performance is one of the S4s strongest points.

The 2024 Audi S4 has been praised for its quiet and relaxed ride, making it an excellent choice for daily driving. The interior is also noted for its high-quality materials and attractive design, although some critics mention that the touchscreen interface could be more integrated. I think the interior is one of the S4s highlights.

Despite being part of the same generation since 2017, the 2024 Audi S4 remains a well-rounded choice among compact luxury sedans. It offers a significant increase in power over the standard A4, with 349 horsepower compared to the A4s 201 horsepower. I believe this power difference makes the S4 a compelling option for those seeking more athleticism in their vehicle.
