Yamaha Saluto 125 Updates

The Yamaha Saluto 125 has been introduced in India with a new Matte Green color option, adding a fresh look to its lineup. This update also includes the availability of both disc and drum brake variants. I think this new color will appeal to a younger demographic.

Yamaha has introduced the Saluto 125 with a range of features including an analogue speedometer, pass light, and stand warning indicator. However, it lacks advanced features like a tachometer and ABS. I think these basic features are sufficient for a commuter bike.

The Saluto 125 features a diamond-type chassis, telescopic fork suspension at the front, and a swing arm at the rear, providing a comfortable ride. The bike also has a fuel efficiency of 78 kmpl, making it a practical choice for daily commuting. I believe the suspension setup is one of its strong points.

The Saluto 125 is equipped with an 18-inch wheel size and tubeless tires, both front and rear, which enhance its stability and durability. The bikes fuel tank capacity is 7.60 litres, sufficient for long rides. I believe the tubeless tires are a great addition for commuter bikes.

The Saluto 125 has a kerb weight of 112 kg and a seat height of 805 mm, making it accessible to a wide range of riders. The bike also boasts a ground clearance of 180 mm, which is adequate for Indian road conditions. This makes it a good option for both urban and rural riders.

Yamaha India has announced plans to offer ABS on all its bikes, including the Saluto 125, starting from February 2019, in line with upcoming safety regulations. This move is expected to significantly improve the safety standards of Yamahas fleet. I think this is a necessary step given the increasing road safety concerns.

The Yamaha Saluto 125 now comes with a combined braking setup, enhancing safety features for riders. This system helps in better braking performance, especially during emergency stops. This is a great move towards improving road safety.

Yamaha Motor India has started exporting the Saluto 125 to West Africa, expanding its global market presence. This move indicates the bikes reliability and appeal beyond the Indian market. I think this is a positive step for Yamahas global strategy.

Yamaha has launched the disc brake variant of the Saluto 125, priced at Rs. 54,500, providing an additional safety feature for riders. This variant is expected to attract more buyers looking for enhanced braking performance. I think this variant offers better value for money.

Yamaha Motor India has launched the new 125cc Saluto with a price tag of Rs. 52,000, making it an affordable option in the commuter segment. The bike features an air-cooled, 125cc engine producing 8.20 bhp and 10.10 Nm of torque. I believe this pricing will make it a strong contender in the market.
